The CJP was talking to a 16-member delegation of Hyderabad High Court Bar headed by its President Nisar Ahmed Durrani, District Bar Dadu headed by its President Ali Anwar Sahar and comprising members and office bearers of Hyderabad High Court Bar, District Bar Dadu and Larkana that called on him at the Supreme Court Branch Registry, Karachi on Saturday.
The CJP said the Bars of Sindh were committed and devoted for the cause of rule of law, supremacy of Constitution and independence of Judiciary. He recounted the days of movement and said that legal fraternity struggled hard for the achievement of their cause which reinforced the path for the restoration of judiciary in the country. The profession of law, the CJP said was an important and valuable profession which is respected in all societies. The members discussed with the CJP issues and matters of interest of the legal/judicial fraternity and thanked him for finding time from his busy schedule.-PR
